Warranty

Our 90-day repair warranty

Ninety days of cover on the component we fit and on the work of fitting it. Below is what sits inside that, what sits outside it, and the steps for making a claim.

01

What the cover includes

For ninety calendar days counted from the invoice date, both the part we installed and the workmanship behind the installation are covered. Should a defect in either show itself inside that period, tell us in writing and we will arrange an inspection.

Where a claim is approved, the remedy is ours to choose: redoing the work, fitting a replacement component, or refunding what you paid for that particular service and part.

02

Where the ninety days start

The clock runs from the day the repair was finished, not from the day you first picked up the phone. Your invoice carries the expiry date in writing, so neither side has to reconstruct it from memory half a year later.

Hold on to the invoice, or a photograph of it on your phone. That is the only proof a claim needs.

03

What the warranty does not reach

A different fault on the same machine counts as new work rather than a warranty visit. Blockages of any description fall outside the cover, as does damage traceable to the way the appliance was used, and any foreign object that found its way into a pump, a motor or another moving assembly.

Anything cosmetic or non-functional sits outside the cover: shelving, tubs and baskets, tanks, outer panels and trim, handles, glass, doors together with their linings, and structural members of the cabinet. Supply lines running to an appliance sit outside the cover whether or not we replaced one or advised replacing it. Machines put to commercial or industrial use are not covered, and neither are appliances whose manufacturer has stopped producing replacement components.

04

Appliances that move, and faults that return

Shift an appliance away from the spot where it was repaired or installed and the warranty on that work lapses with the move.

The same applies where the original complaint comes back and putting it right would mean buying a new component rather than correcting something we did.

05

Components you supplied, and unpaid balances

Where a component came from you rather than from us and we were asked to fit it, that component carries none of our cover, its origin and history being unknown on this side. The labor of fitting it is a separate matter and is discussed when you book.

No claim is honored while any sum from the original price quote remains outstanding.

06

How to raise a claim

Write to us without delay, quoting the date shown on the invoice and describing what the appliance is doing now. Every claim goes through inspection and approval before any work is scheduled.

Once approved, the follow-up visit is booked the same way the first one was, with a day and an arrival window agreed on the phone.
